Time to retire the RayBan Wayfarers

The Ray Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses revolution was well overdue and I’ll even admit that being a hipster in his late 20′s was tres awesome fun, but enough. The Ray Ban Wayfarer, coolsie haircut, skinny jeans and nonchalant look has reached tipping point. It’s no longer avant-garde, rather just conforming to a global trend.

Think harder, Homer…

So what’s next after the Ray Ban Wayfarer? Try some of these…

Persol – Steve McQueens. These are my fav’s. Heading in a rounder classic look.
DSquared – Back to the aviator for a break. They look tough and suit most people.
Marc Jacobs – Some oddball frames by Marc Jacobs, but they’re growing on me.
