Country Road, it's not so bad. Really.
For fear of being stoned to death by my fellow man I have never mentioned Australia's most vanilla menswear brand, Country Road.
5 years ago and I would cringe at the though of looking like my father in a pair of sensible CR slacks and boat shoes, but thankfully they have got their shit together.
They have some great peaked lapel blazers, hoodies, travel bags, leather sandals and very cool leather boots.

Bodybuilder, James Bond and bastard. Even at the age of 75, Sean Connery can still make the ladies coo. Is it the speech impediment mixed with the Scottish accent? Or the fact he's so old school that he once told Barbara Walters that it was ok to hit a women.
Regardless of his penchant for giving back chatting women seat belts, he's an icon of the Bond film franchise and gives bald guys everywhere on this planet a glimmer of hope.
All too often we forget about the men of yesteryear with their Old Spice womanising antics and well cut suits. Next time you buy yourself super skinny jeans, stop and think whether or not Sean would endorse your purchase.

Louis Vuitton & Kanye West
Someone once told me there was nothing wrong with arrogance, as long as you backed it up with results. Kanye clearly listened to these fine words.
His latest collaboration has seen a pairing with Marc Jacobs of Louis Vuitton to create a signature range of sneakers.
They look as if they've channeled early Nike basketball boots with a touch of the Airwalk skateboarding lace-saver.

Linen Jackets
Linen is traditionally an older gentleman's material, so with spring just around the corner and my impending 30th birthday, it seems apt to discuss.
The casual slightly creased linen look is a great alternative to traditional suit jackets which we're all too familiar with wearing during winter.
A simple well cut linen jacket should be worn with cotton pants or shorts. Chuck on some clean lace ups (leather or canvas) and you're good to go.
