Spring Racing Carnival is in full flight at the moment, which means men in suits and women in over priced hats and fascinators.
One accessory which seems to be missing from many a mans attire is the silk pocket square. For shame. The pocket square has to be one of the most underrated accessory for a suit. Whether you're going formal or doing the advertising exec without a tie, the pocket square really makes someone stand out.
Start with white, then move onto spots and colours to match your shirt or socks. Make sure you learn proper pocket square folding techniques too.
Do it.

Style.com iPhone App

The good folks at Style.com have put together an iPhone app to add to the 50 I don't use. Kind of ironic the fact we shit a sailboat when someone releases these, yet they're forgotten about in minutes.
See the latest from the men's collections and peruse the models in the women's.
Download it today.

Turning 30
For most the thought of turning 30 bubbles away in the back of the mind for a good couple of years prior to the big event. Is it worth all the jokes, stress and angst? Or with the lifestyles we've led in our 20's, should it be treated as a miracle that we even got there.
Most presume we'll be married by 30, own a house and a dog called Jack. I would like a dog, but you can hold the other stuff for a while.
So you want my advice for turning the big 3OH!? Get off the drugs, get more friends, travel again, make money (lots of it), keep your sense of humor and live by the seat of your pants for another 5 years until you feel you're ready for some responsibility.
Turning 30 ain't so bad.

Dizzee Rascal Nike Sneakers

With the release of his new album and current touring schedule, Dizzy Rascal is busier than a Baghdad bricklayer. To top it all off, he's only 23. Nice work if you can get it.
To celebrate his awesomeness, Dizzee has teamed up with Nike to create a limited line of Air Max 90's.
Their colourway is supposedly modeled off a human tongue. Kinda creepy, but oh so cool.

The Untitled Shop
I'm back from my short break and ready to give my readers some love again. Some hetro bloke man love.
I recently came across a great shop and its labels in Melbourne's hip district of Fitzroy. The shop goes by the name of 'The Untitled Shop' and their labels are 'Malmö' and 'Who am eye'.
Why are they so good? They're well made, fit extremely well and are well priced. Something we need to see more of in Australia.
Frederik and the crew down there are good lads and worth visiting when you're nearby next.
