Artist: Bernard Villemot

Vintage French lithograph posters have always been a firm favorite of mine.

Ever since I first layed eyes on the iconic Orangina posters, I’ve been hooked. Villemot is perhaps the most renown French graphic artist. Known primarily for his iconic advertising images for Air France, Bally and Perrier. Since his death in 1989 his work has become even more sought after.

This morning I came across this, his Mermaid Loto print. Another one of his works. The next thing to be added to the Wiesman Wishlist. If you’re new to art then these posters are a great starting point, and an even better way to spruce up a room.
