Harrolds Luxury Department Store for Men in collaboration with international men’s style journal, Fantastic Man, recently celebrated the launch of the new 12/13 season on the evening of Friday 14th September 2012. Mr. Gert Jonkers, Editor in Chief of Fantastic Man, joined John and Theo Poulakis of Harrolds in welcoming guests to the exclusive event which was held at the flagship Harrolds 101 Collins Street Melbourne store.
A cool and immaculately dressed crowd was in attendance; a powerful guest list of influential opinion formers from the fields of art, design, fashion, politics, commerce and hospitality. Notable guests included digital media entrepreneur and trend forecaster Barrie Barton, Melbourne based fashion designers Robert Maniscalo (Claude Maus) and Toni Maticevski, and Penny Martin, Editor in Chief of Fantastic Man’s sister publication, The Gentlewoman. Also present were Aesop founder Dennis Paphitis, restaurateur John van Haandel, Jamie Valmorbida, ACMI’s James Nolen, Semi-Permanent founder Murray Bell and a plethora of Harrolds’ loyal VIP clientele.
Guests listened to the sounds of DJ Michael Delaney and sipped on flutes of chilled Laurent-Perrier Champagne, Capi mineral water, Peroni beer, 666 Vodka martinis and Glemorangie old fashioned cocktails.
