Lexus Design Pavilion
Lexus are pleased to confirm that 2012/2013 will see the launch of a series of significant global design initiatives, one of which will be announced in Melbourne, Australia, on November 1st.
As a preview to what will be a continuation of a very special journey in design and innovation, Lexus are pleased to announce that for the celebrated Melbourne Cup Carnival the luxury brand has created the ‘Lexus Design Pavilion’, a space in which to showcase the creativity and innovation of Australian designers. 2012 is Lexus’ tenth year as a partner of this legendary international event.
The Pavilion is the setting for Lexus to proudly introduce guests to the new results of their dedication to creation and invention – the new LF-LC concept car (one of only two in the world) as well as the new LS 600h F Sport model.
Throughout the Pavilion will be a selection of original furniture and objects by 24 of Australia’s best creatives. Many of these are items manufactured by the designers and local companies, while some are produced by international brands. Others are limited editions, prototypes or works commissioned especially for the Lexus Design Pavilion.
This collection of design ‘greatest hits’ will be on display in the Lexus Design Pavilion for guests to view, interact with, admire and enjoy. (WWW)
