Ressence Type 1001 Watch

Ressence Type 1001 Watch
Yes, what you’re looking at here is a watch with no hands. The Ressence Type 1001 is the brainchild of Benoit Mintiens, a celebrated Belgian industrial designer. Instead of having hands that rotate on a dial, the Type 1001 has a dial that rotates itself. The primary dial indicates the minutes, while the sub-dials indicate hours, seconds, and am/pm. This, according to Mintiens, enhances readability based on traditional cognitive patterns.  (WWW)
