M.J. Bale’s autumn Winter 2013 collection steps it up a level, taking the modern man on a high-roller jaunt through Europe in fine tuxedos, new fabrications and outerwear. Referencing the spirit of Dean Martin, Steve McQueen and films like The Thomas Crown Affair (the original), M.J. Bale’s Autumn Winter 2013 collection marries classic high-end suiting with 60s-era mix-and-match tailoring (jacket and trouser separates) and garment layering – a collection not showy and ostentatious, but infused with a confident, sartorial edge. Matt Jensen, M.J. Bale’s owner-designer, says the autumn Winter 2013 collection was very much influenced by the continuing feedback of customers and what he sees as a “return to timeless yet individual male elegance.” Collection is in-store now.
