Oslo Suspension Chair

If your idea of Scandinavian home furnishings is Ikea, prepare yourself for a shock. There’s a lot more to Scandinavian design than flat pack furniture and the in-store meatball dining experience. The Oslo Suspension Chair was inspired by a Scandinavian design from the 1970s and reinterpreted by Restoration Hardware. The original design featured a bentwood frame and hammock-like sling seat. The modern version pays tribute to its predecessor with a stainless steel frame, a suspended canvas sling, and a button-tufted leather cushion. And there’s not a meatball in sight.
