Conor McGregor Reveals How He Quit His Plumbing Career

Conor McGregor wasn’t always a world champion UFC fighter on top of his game.

Before his most recent loss to Nate Diaz and even before he became a rock star of the sport, he was your average plumber who toiled in the dark and dreary tunnels of Ireland’s work sites.

He didn’t last long in that career as his passion for something more in life pushed him to quit his job. Shortly after he became a broke young Irishman but most importantly, took up the sport of mixed martial arts.

McGregor recently sat down with talk show host Conan O’Brien to talk about his past life and what led him to the path he walks today. It’s pretty inspirational and will likely make you want to quit your job to go punch on for a living as well.

Conor McGregor plumber no more.
