This stunning Victorian house designed by IDEA – Kennedy Nolan is not just a pretty face. Passive solar design is heavily incorporated into the home to maximise energy efficiency and natural lighting. The arrangement of the home has a clean and formal look which helps to accentuate the intricate and bold shapes used throughout the space.
Based on the client’s request that the architecture reflect their extensive stay in various parts of Asia, the designers opted for minimal palette of colour, texture and form. The goal here was to reference the qualitative aspects of Asian architecture as opposed to the obvious gaudy visual representations. Definitely an ideal pad to unwind in.
