Suitably Connected is a Melbourne-based men’s networking group aimed at providing sartorial opportunities for the disadvantaged to help get them back on their feet. In the latest fundraiser, the group has teamed up with menswear retailer Henry Bucks and ex-AFL star Paul Salmon for a networking event that will donate all proceeds to charity organisation Wear For Success.
The event will take place on Thursday the 20th of November and feature talks and discussions from Paul Salmon on developing a career path, staying motivated and personal growth. It’s a significant cause given today’s tough employment market that the disadvantaged face.
Suitably Connected is the perfect charity body to take on this role having been formed in 2012 to help train men and women struggling in this area by assisting them in gaining permanent employment. Michael Chambers who is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Suitably Connected, said, “Suitably Connected is very pleased to have someone of the calibre of Paul Salmon talking to our members at Henry Bucks – one of the finest menswear stores in Australia. Everyone benefits from this – our members, our partners and sponsors and most importantly, Wear For Success.”
The team have partnered with Oscar Hunt Tailors, Macedon-based brewery Holgate and award-winning CBD restaurant Brooks of Melbourne to raise money in the past.
