Fact: Designers design homes. But have you ever wondered who designs the homes of designers? Ponder no more. The Chief Designer of renowned designer homeware group VIPP, Morten Bo Jensen, has unveiled his very own living quarters that’s a sight to behold. Located in Copenhagen, Denmark, the house was naturally taken care of by VIPP and acts as a fine showcase of what the Scandinavian design company is capable of. It takes the very clean and often stark lines of modern architectural spaces and transforms it completely by injecting a serious dose of character and masculinity.
The black and white theme is prevalent throughout the home but is in no way overbearing. This can be credited to VIPP’s intuitive use of floating closet designs, organic elements like plants and firewood used as hero features and a very cool office space that takes full advantage of the bike rack. Hanging light features also seem to be a big thing in Scandinavia land. We definitely dig.
