Spanish retail giant Zara has returned with its new collection for spring/summer 2015, just as the Australian summer kicks into high gear. Recruiting the face and limbs of models Matthew Holt, Victor Nylander, David Flinn, the campaign is shot somewhere serene and lakeside at dusk. The look for Zara is clean in the scorcher months. Tailoring is updated with modern cuts that sit ultra slim – an excuse to update your tired blazer with a sharp new one; while grey and taupe are the dominant suit colours. Minimalism creeps over on knitwear too with subtle stripes offering a touch of aesthetic personality to sweaters. A navy Harrington jacket (think slim bomber) and seventies-look polos in mauve and tobacco hues round out off-duty looks. For outerwear, Zara offers two main options: a trench in pop-orange or classic navy.
Key pieces from the collection:
- Colourful trench
- Slim-fit blazer
- Harrington jacket
