You can add this one to the list of cars nobody asked for, but received anyway. The result? It’s pretty damn cool. Startech, the sister company to luxury car tuner Brabus took a scalpel to a Range Rover and did something nobody thought possible – a pickup truck.
The car represents a new venture between Brabus and Startech and will see it debut at this year’s Shanghai Auto Show. The wild Range Rover comes complete with 100 bespoke body parts consisting of aluminium, carbon finishes and steel.
We’re not too sure what market Startech is targeting with this car, but we have a strong feeling the 23-inch forged wheels are probably more suited to the cashed-up young Chinese. In place of the stock powerplant is a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 with 526hp. It also does 0 – 100km/h in 5.3 seconds to ensure you lose half your luggage out the back.
