Architect and CG artist Denis Krasikov created this stunning concept home with a very specific consumer in mind: chief editor of one of Russia’s major gaming magazines.
Hear “Gamer’s Dream” and you probably picture pixellated art, shelves of action figures and memorabilia, and a cabinet full of consoles, but Krasikov’s vision is far more subdued and sophisticated. His upscale gamer’s abode is a modern industrial masterpiece in masculine muted tones.
The apartment features a dark colour palette of grey and cream, offest by a light wood floor and a surprising splash of colour in the bedroom. Lighting fixtures are bold, metal, and modern. Couches and chairs are plush and inviting, providing balance to the warehouse feel of exposed beams and concrete walls.
Krasikov’s home is hip, refined, and infinitely preferrable to the squalid basement digs of the gamer stereotype.
