Since 1919, Bentley has been a leader in the high-end automobile industry, known for hand-finished details, expert craftsmanship and uncompromising luxury. Those shared values make the company an unexpectedly ideal counterpart to Savile Row’s legendary bespoke tailoring houses.
In celebration of their British lineage and commitment to luxe living, Bentley Motors has commissioned four Savile Row houses to create unique, modern interpretations of the classic driving jacket.
Dege & Skinner, Gieves & Hawkes, Henry Poole and Huntsman have been tapped to put their twist on the iconic garment In honour of the “Savile Row and America: a Sartorial Special Relationship” exhibition that recently opened in America.
“This partnership highlights two luxury businesses that share a history of handcrafted detail, and who both continue this tradition of uncompromising quality into the 21st Century,” Bentley said in a statement announcing the collaboration.
Following the current exhibition in Washington, D.C., the jackets will travel back to London and remain on display in their respective Savile Row houses. The bespoke jackets are available from each house by private commission.
