It’s not just tennis people are talking about in the run up to the 114th French Open. Richard Mille has unveiled the new RM 27-02 tourbillon, specially made for Rafael Nadal. He’ll be sporting it as he goes for his tenth title at Roland Garros.
The RM 27-02 has beauty, braun, and brains in abundance. It has no shortage of the technical visuals Richard Mille is famous for, but it can also take a serious beating (a must when you’re on the wrist of one of the biggest superstars in tennis).
The watch is certified to withstand a full 5,000 Gs and is built for extreme water resistance. The case is harder, lighter, and more resistant than its predecessor, thanks to two new carbon fibre materials developed in conjunction with North Thin Ply Technology. In conditions that would decimate any other timepiece, this tourbillon keeps on ticking.
The Richard Mille RM 27-02 is a limited edition of 50 pieces and is priced at USD $775,000.
