#1 Nissan Juke Nismo RSnow
Nismo, the renowned tuning arm for Nissan motor company rarely rest on their laurels when it comes to performance variants. And it doesn’t get any wilder than the team’s latest snow tank. Besides the obvious tracks which replace the stock wheels, the performance is left stock bar for a tweak to the exterior for extra clearance and a re-jig of the torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system. Hit up Nismo to make your enquiry on getting behind the wheel of one of these as Winter sets in locally. Otherwise watch the car race snow dogs here.

#2 The Riva 76′ Coupe
If it sounds more like a sportscar than a yacht, then there’s a good reason for that. The Riva 76′ Coupe is the latest yacht by Italy’s Ferretti Group dubbed the ‘Supercar of the Seas’. It certainly looks the part too with its signature Moon Grey finish standing at 75.5ft long with a swooping canopy all round. It’s driven by two V-drive MAN V12 1,550 MHP engines which propels the boat to a maximum speed of 33 knots with a cruising speed of 29 knots. Too slow for your liking? Kick it up a notch with the more powerful 1,800 MHP engines that will get you cutting waves at 37 knots.

If it’s luxury you’re after, think a top deck with sunpads, sofas and a main deck with a dining table for eight. There’s also three private cabins with one master bedroom for ye capitan.

#3 Nexpaq Modular Smartphone Case
It may look like another average phone case but the Nexpaq now trending on Kickstarter is much more. First and foremost the case acts as a backup battery with 1,000mAh but also has 6 module slots that allow the user to clip on vital features at their will. Need more memory? There’s a microSD card reader. Need a breathalyser? It’s got that module too. How about a speaker amplifier? It’s got that module ready to go.

#4 Mini Q Key Organiser Knife
Knives and keys go together like bread and butter, no? Well they do now. The Mini Q Key lets you slot your keys (up to four) into a sleek unibody machined from aluminium, brass or titanium. They flick out just like a pocket knife when you need it and hide away perfectly when you don’t, saving your phone a many scuff marks. There’s a built-in blade but those who’d prefer a bottle opener or drop point can opt for that in place.

#6 Tesla Powerwall
It’s been raved about for days now and we can’t help but jump on board. An entirely green solution to a common household problem, Tesla are aiming to change the game with their household and industrial batteries called Powerwall. Intended to power the entire home, the advanced lithium-ion battery (similar to those used in Tesla cars) can connect to residential solar systems and old school power grid to store electricity. It’s intuitive too, relying on solar when it’s available and recharging via the grid when the off-peak rates are cheapest.

The compact unit is available in 10kWh and 7kWh variants with easy fitment to walls. Throw in a 10 year warranty and you have a game-changer in the energy race.
