Kiev, Ukraine has no shortage of stunning designer dwellings for a hip young crowd and this week sees the arrival of one spectacular share house penned by 2B.Group. The main hero feature? A 30m2 rusted wall forming the backdrop against a 6m dining table.
The views aren’t too shabby too, overlooking the picturesque sights of Kyiv, on the slopes of Dnieper river.
Immaculate light features, original artwork and exposed concrete walls also help drive this home over the line when it comes to masculinity.
Some of the rooms do seem a bit bare but the owners assure us that they’ve intended it to be that way, highlighting their desire for a space with the supremacy of freedom, simplicity and joy. They don’t use the term ‘freedom’ lightly either with the bathroom featuring a fully opened bathtub complete with floor to ceiling glass walls.
Redundant? Perhaps. Goddamn beautiful? Definitely.
