Swiss watchmakers, Alpina have revived a classic with the AL-710, a contemporary take on an Alpiner automatic model from the 1950’s.
The AL-710 is simple and chic, with no crazy features or complicated designs. The movement consists of 134 components, which include circular graining details, beveled and rhodium-finished bridges, and a black-coated ball bearing rotor which takes inspiration from one of Alpina’s original movement designs from 1949.
The watch is finished off with a stainless steel 41.5mm case wrapped around a vintage dial and a dedicated date sub-dial.
Assembled entirely in Alpina’s workshops in Geneva, the AL-710 is robust, reliable and as pure as it gets.
