We hope you’ve got your tents and Ugg boots sorted as Australia will be one of the first countries in the world to get their hands on the new Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus starting from Friday the 25th of September.
The latest model from the Californian tech giant will boast the latest and fastest iOS 9 software as well as coming in a host of attractive new colours including gold, silver, space grey and rose gold metallic. Prices for the standard 6s will start at AU$1,079 for the 16GB model, AU$1,229 for the 64GB model and AU$1,379 for the 128GB model.
Its larger brother, the 6s Plus, will also be available in the same colours with prices starting at AU$1,229 for the 16GB model, AU$1,379 for the 64GB model and AU$1,529 for the 128GB model. These prices are specific to the Australian region however the launch will coincide with the world release from Apple.
Speaking ahead of the release of the smartphone, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Marketing said that, “customer response to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus has been incredibly positive, we can’t wait to get our most advanced iPhones ever into customers’ hands starting this Friday.”
Amongst the host of software updates and new colours, the iPhone 6s twins will also bring to the game an advanced 3D Touch feature which detects the force of a user’s touch to make navigation quicker and simpler. A brand new 12MP iSight camera is also a notable upgrade that Apple has attended to.
Both the 6s and 6s Plus models will be available from Apple stores from this Friday.
