Bentley‘s recently unveiled SUV has already taken the crown for being the world’s most powerful SUV, but the Bentayga is now making news for a different reason. Breitling‘s optional dash-mounted clock in the vehicle will set buyers back almost US$170,000.
To put that into perspective, a Mercedes AMG GT costs around US$131,000. Lest we forget, this is no ordinary clock for any ordinary SUV. What you’re getting for the exorbitant amount of coin is Breitling’s Mulliner Tourbillon finished in solid gold with diamond encrusted number markers.
The face of the clock can be finished in an option of either ebony or mother-of-pearl whilst the movement is purely mechanical. Manual winding of the clock is taken care of by a self-winding mechanism which relies on the car’s motion.
Keen to get your grubby hands on one? You’ll need a Bentayga first. Prices start at US$229,000 and hits lofty US$300,000 for the Edition One model.
