The campaign is built around the themes of happiness and progress. Johnnie Walker Global Brand Director Guy Escolme said: “Progress doesn’t have to be an endless uphill journey – we can enjoy the steps we take and the more happiness we find in them, the more likely we are to achieve our goal.”
Jude narrates the upbeat ad, set to the infections ‘Ca Plane Pour Moi’ by Plastic Bertrand, while Jenson shows off a few of his skills behind the wheel. Chinese actor Zhao Wei, US rock band OK Go and Mexican supermodel Montserrat Oliver also make appearances in the spot.
With a launch in 50 countries simultaneously last week, this will be the biggest campaign Johnnie Walker has ever run. Coca-Cola no longer has the monopoly on happiness.
