Mick Fanning. We love the guy, and not just for his surfing ability. His wrestling match with a shark earlier this year blew the minds of all, but sadly his shark-punching prowess has just been trumped. Scientists are currently working on a surfboard that can repel sharks.

A string of shark attacks have left some of Australia’s most famous and popular surfing beaches deserted, sparking the controversial Shark-culling debate.
