All good things need to come to an end and with that comes the sad news that Spectre, the latest Bond instalment due out in November will be Daniel Craig’s last as the iconic James Bond.
In an interview with Esquire magazine, the 47-year-old English actor admitted that it was time he moved away from a life of Martini swilling and gun slinging.
He re-affirmed his intentions by saying that he didn’t know whether he’d film another 007 movie after Spectre, but if he had to decide right now, he would probably leave the franchise behind.
“I really don’t know. Honestly. I’m not trying to be coy. At the moment I can’t even conceive it.”
The publication pressed further and asked if he was keen to do just one more Bond film.
“At this moment, no. I have a life and I’ve got to get on with it a bit. But we’ll see.”
