Fashion extraordinaire Thom Browne has set up home for a short time in Paris. Opening a Fifties style pop-up shop , the New Yorker will be featured as a guest designer in the French capital over the next month, within the bourgeois walls of department store, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche.
Recreating a retro office space, which also holds pieces from the Thom Browne Autumn/Winter 2015, the entire room is wall-to-floor mirrors. Inside, metal-leathered shoes line the floor and silver-plated office items perch upon an all-silver table with matching chair.
Le Bon Marché will be selling some Thom Browne products from the installation, with some items being sold exclusively online. It’s a little piece of extravagance – both in fashion and interiors.
The Thom Browne Le Bon Marché pop-up is open now and ends late September. Not in Paris? Take a peek at the installation via the gallery.
