‘Top Gear’ Team’s New Show Is Pitting The Hypercar Holy Trinity Against Each Other

Hold on to your eyeballs. This is gonna get wild. Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond — former hosts of the BBC’s long-running car show Top Gear — have started filming their new show for Amazon Prime, and they’re kicking it off in spectacular fashion.

Clarkson tweeted a picture of the crew during filming, plus three very special guest stars: a Ferrari LaFerrari, a McLaren P1 and a Porsche 918 Spyder. A shootout between all three hypercars was supposedly in the works for Top Gear before Clarkson’s unceremonious exit from the show. Now it looks like we’ll finally get to witness the greatest showdown in supercar history.

The former Top Gear trio will officially be back on screens – albeit ones that can stream – in 2016 with their all-new automotive series.
