Get your Kleenexes out gentlemen. Authorities have discovered the charred remains of two beautiful vintage Ferraris over the weekend in Melbourne’s south-east.
The cars in question included a 1972 Ferrari Daytona, reported to be worth about $2,000,000 and a 1986 Ferrari 328 which fetches well over $100,000.
The prancing horses were stolen from a Braeside workshop in a ram raid on Friday from thieves who likely watched too many re-runs of Gone In 60 Seconds.
By 4:00am on Saturday, the prized Daytona was found burnt out on a quiet street in Langwarrin whilst the 328 (pictured above) was found fully alight early on Monday morning in the suburb of Frankston.
Detectives are continuing their investigation into the brazen thefts.
