The Playbook For The Modern Man

Apple To Use iPhone Fingerprint Sensor For Emergency Calls

There seems to be a lot happening behind closed doors at Apple. A new patent document reveals the company’s plans to implement a new, secret way to activate panic mode on your iPhone via fingerprint sensor technology.

Through activation with a specific finger, your device would automatically limit access to personal information, reset completely or activate preset actions like calling 911 or sounding an alarm.

Discreet and easy to activate, the panic mode can also contact emergency services through the Internet, forward location information and ask for help. Plus, on activation your iPhone will begin recording, taking pictures or video and recording audio from its microphone.

Serial killers and kidnappers beware.
