Say you’re an 8-year-old boy. Say your family has plans to go to Paris for Christmas. Say they accidentally leave you behind, and you’re forced to defend your home from a pair of would-be burglars. That’s bound to leave a psychological scar or two right?
Turns out the answer is a definitive yes. Macaulay Culkin has reprised his Home Alone role in a new web series called “:DRYVRS” and… well… let’s just say Kevin McCallister is no longer the cute kid everyone remembers.
Not only does grown-up Kevin look a whole lot different, he’s also bubbling over with emotional issues from his childhood abandonment. “I had to fend off my house from two psychopath home invaders. I was just a kid,” says Kevin, who is driving for an Uber-like service. “I mean, I still have nightmares about this bald weirdo dude chasing me around.”
From there, things take an even stranger turn. The sketch is nostalgic and totally twisted – exactly what you need during the holiday season. Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals.
