Legendary Peking Duk Fan Uses Fake Wikipedia Post To Sneak Backstage

Aussie scallywag electro duo Peking Duk officially met their biggest fan during a recent concert in Melbourne. Sneaky mate David Spargo managed to sneak backstage by convincing a security guard he was related to one-half of Peking Duk by editing the band’s Wikipedia page on his phone.

Band mates Reuben Styles and Adam Hyde were so impressed by Spargo’s stunt that they ignored the ‘security breach’ and praised the fan for his stunt.

“It was probably the most genius, mastermind move that I’ve ever witnessed,” Hyde said. “We ended up having a bunch of beers with him and he was an absolute legend. He wasn’t a creep or anything. He was like the most normal dude we’ve ever met. That’s what makes it more hilarious.”

The ‘High’ chart-toppers posted an appropriate meme to social media this week in tribute to Spargo and said the moral of the story was “never trust Wikipedia.”
