For those with a personal wealth which rivals a small country’s GDP, Mansory have the perfect car for you.
The Swiss luxury tuning company has rolled out their latest creation using a Rolls Royce Wraith. The end result is the Palm Edition 999 – a wild exercise in sheer opulence when the Rolls Royce badge alone doesn’t cut it.
The exterior of the car features an extravagant two-tone white and 999 pure gold finish which extends from the bonnet across the roofline all the way to the trunk. Door handles, the front fascia, door garnishes and The Spirit of Ecstasy are also plated in pure gold. Even the interior isn’t spared from the lavish gold touch – just take a look at the gold seatbelt buckles.
Oddly enough, the Wraith adds a sporty touch with additional aero via the carbon front and rear spoilers and side skirts to go with its 22-inch gold-plated performance wheels.
Power from the luxury cruiser’s big V12 is also bumped up from 632hp to 740hp. That’s a two-tonne car hitting 100km/h in 4.4 seconds. Torque has also been improved to help the car accelerate at a dizzying rate. The standard 800Nm now sees an insane 1,000Nm of torque.
Mansory plans to build just nine examples of the car with a yet-to-be disclosed price tag. ‘If you have to ask, you can’t afford it’ likely applies in this case.
