Joe Harmon turned this perception on its head and went ahead with the idea. What you see before you is the Splinter – a modern sportscar with a frame, body and interior made entirely of wood.
We’re not sure how well it fairs in the safety regulations or against termites, but it can hit over 320km/h thanks to a Chevy-donated 700hp LS7 V8 engine.
