The Coen Brothers’ ‘Hail, Caesar!’ Promises Hilarity And Hollywood Glamour

A few months back, the first trailer for Joel and Ethan Coen’s new comedy Hail, Caesar! hit the web. Between Channing Tatum dancing in a sailor suit and Scarlett Johansson dressed as a mermaid, it got our attention.

Now a second trailer has arrived, offering an enticing taste of the classic Coen whimsy that’s to come. The scene features a harried director (Ralph Fiennes) trying to coach his leading man (Alden Ehrenreich) in the subtle art of the English accent. The line is “Would that it were so simple” – although it proves to be anything but.

The Coens have enlisted an incredible roster of talent to tell their tale of the golden age of cinema. Also on board are Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Jonah Hill, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Dolph Lundgren. This may be the most all-star cast the Coen bros have assembled yet (and that’s saying something).
