Dree Hemingway Is Playboy’s First Non-Nude Playmate

Full screen

Since announcing last October that after 62 years in the erotic imagery biz, Playboy would no longer feature photos of fully nude women, many wondered if it was the beginning of the end for the iconic men’s magazine. However, for its landmark March issue, Playboy is back and making a bold move with Miss March, Dree Hemingway, the magazine’s first non-nude, and unretouched Playmate.

Dree Hemingway, as her name suggests, is the great-granddaughter of writer Ernest Hemingway. She also recently won the Robert Altman Award at the Film Independent Spirit Awards for her role in Sean Baker’s Starlet. Smart, naturally sexy and with an appetite for adventure, Hemingway was the perfect pick for Playboy‘s first non-nude issue.

“My pictorial captures all of me,” Dree told Playboy. “…the sexy Dree, the childlike Dree, the funny Dree, the tomboy, the Lolita.”

The March 2016 issue of Playboy hits newsstands February 12.
