Nike Revamp The Flyknit Chukka For Golfing

Full screen

If you’re an avid yet fashionable golfer keen to avoid the offensive footwear all too common to the course, Nike has answered your prayers.

The Nike Golf Spring/Summer 16 range disrupts the status quo with street style staple, the Nike Flyknit Chukka. Created in 2013, the Flyknit is an ongoing collaboration between NIKE, Inc. CEO and designer Mark Parker, Nike design legend Tinker Hatfield and style ambassador Hiroshi Fujiwara, and this year makes its mark in the world of golf.

The shoes‘ fresh aesthetic and sustainable twist (reducing manufacturing waste and materials) make it the newcomer golfers need. Add to that a silhouette catered to golfing needs, a golf-specific Nike Free-inspired sole unit, with traction elements in the toe and heel, and an upper skin resistant to light rain and morning dew and you’ve got yourself a hole-in-one.

The Flyknit Chukka is already worn on the course by pros like Patrick Rodgers, Jamie Lovemark and Kevin Tway and is available now in monochrome or racer blue and white.
