When you think of living on a farm, the first thing that doesn’t come to mind it the term “cool”.
Project B, a private residence located in Belgium is changing this perception with the help of Juma Architects. Completed in 2015, the renovation took place on an old farm which was spacious but lacked any real substance or light.
Juma Architects took this point on board and livened up the entire space with existing wood frames, splashes of white and the liberal use of windows and black framing. Natural stone also extends across the open kitchen space whilst in the lounge there’s a massive fireplace complete with stacked logs as the central hero piece.
Juma Architects have done a stellar job in accentuating the authentic lines of the house without making it look dated. From the clean and modern furniture to the subtle use of colour combinations, everything implemented into this space makes it the perfect retreat home for any discerning gent.
We’re not sure it’d be a good idea to walk into the house with manure feet though.
