Tourism Australia is pulling out all the stops in 2016 with their recently released (and criticised) Chris Hemsworth voice-over ad and now with a host of 360 degree interactive videos showcasing the country’s major attractions.
On the nomadic hit list are places like the Gold Coast, the ACT, the Biddlecombe Cascade in Northern Territory, Tasmania’s Port Lincoln, Fortescue Bay in Tasmania and Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. In total there are nine clips to view.
Simply play the video in your browser (preferably Google Chrome) or your smartphone using the Youtube app and you’ll be able to click and drag the screen in any direction you want to explore as the video pans. Sure beats the old shrimp on the barbie Tourism Australia ad with Crocodile Dundee, we think.
