If you’ve ever wondered about the scale of Apple‘s global operations then your queries have been answered in this short drone video.
Captured by photographer Duncan Sinfield, the aerial footage shows the progress and of Apple’s second campus taking shape on a gargantuan scale. The neo-futuristic complex deemed Apple Campus 2 costs $US5 billion and will house a fitness centre, expansive parking for up to 10,980, a theatre, R&D facilities and the main hub – a building which will accommodate 12,000 employees and guests. The donut design of the building will ensure that Apple’s second campus will wear the largest panes of curved glass in the world.
A construction timetable from the City of Cupertino notes that the Apple campus will continue construction throughout 2016 with completion to be soon after. It sure gives today’s Olympic stadiums a run for their money.
