If you’re living in one of Sydney‘s harbourside suburbs then you can consider yourself a member of Australia’s wealthiest areas, according to new data released by the Australian Taxation Office.
The prize for most affluent postcode goes to 2027, which comprises of Darling Point, Edgecliff and Point Piper. The average income for a person living within the 2027 postcode is a comfortable $200,000, which has increased from $170,000 in 2012-13. The suburb of Toorak in Victoria came in second place on the list, with a mean taxable income of $167,407.
