Levitate In Style At The MIMA Light Floating House

Full screen

Minimalists and Harry Potter enthusiasts, you’re welcome. The MIMA Light Floating House is the latest optical illusion in modern architecture that incorporates a clever base lining of mirrors to make the home appear is if it is suspended in mid-air.

The gravity-defying exterior of MIMA Floating House isn’t its only modular achievement, though. Inspired by the minimalist sculptures of artists like Donald Judd, John McCracken and Robert Morris, MIMA is the epitome of sophistication.

While the structure’s sober and sharp exterior can be appreciated from any angle, inside comfort can be found in a light, warm and inviting pine coating. MIMA produced and assembled the Light Floating House in factory and then transported it to the local site, making it the perfect temporary and adaptable office, home or inspirational man cave.
