Riccardo Tisci Has Reunited With NikeLab For A New Sportswear Collaboration

Full screen

Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci is taking a break from high fashion to inject some of his luxury aesthetic into a new line of Nike sportswear, following his Nike Dunks collaboration.

The NikeLab x RT: Training Defined collection will be split into two capsules, first a black and white collection to be released in July, followed by a mashup of florals and kaleidoscope prints, available a month later in August.

The floral collection references the Olympics, with some prints originating from Rio de Janeiro. Other flowers featured in the collection’s vivid prints are native to Nike’s homebase in Portland, and Tisci’s home in Taranto, Italy. As well as a range of prints set to shakeup the sportswear landscape, the collaboration will incorporate Nike’s performance fabrics and technology like Dri-FIT and Flyknit.

As for ambassadors, Nike and Tisci have enlisted track star Sanya Richards-Ross (with abs you’ve always dreamed of) and decathlete Ashton Eaton. Stay tuned for more.
