It’s often said that Parisians do it best when it comes to style and this beautifully appointed apartment is living proof of that.
Aptly named French Metal Rack, this residence located in the heart of France utilises an abundance of interior art pieces, geometric lines and modern decor to add a serious dose of character to the space.
Penned and renovated by Italian firm UdA Architetti in 2015, the home features the mother of all centre pieces made of steel that cuts through the lounge room and extends to the window. It’s interesting way to accentuate lines but it absolutely works.
Elsewhere you’ll find 3D art work by the man about town himself and expert metal worker, Dion Horstmans. If steel is not your thing then you’ll be glad to know that the kitchen and dining area is completely juxtaposed with fine woodgrain and low-hanging designer lighting. It’s literally like witnessing an artwork within an artwork. And that’s before we even get to the bathroom…
