Bondi hipsters will be pleased by the news that Jac + Jack has opened a store in the iconic Sydney suburb, which means no more traipsing to Paddington for your effortlessly luxe ensembles.
Lisa Dempsey and Jacqueline Hunt are the brains behind Jac + Jack and bonafide Bondi locals themselves, making it an obvious fit for the brand. “It’s iconic, international, home for us, and the lifestyle is relaxed yet elegant. Bondi is for everybody; it’s not uptight or overly polished,” Dempsey told Broadsheet.
Despite starting off as a Lebanese restaurant 25 years ago, the new Jac + Jack Bondi is now warm and inviting with elements of marble, concrete, brass and shades of grey designed by George Livissianis.
“The store shouldn’t overpower the product. The product sits very well within the store,” says Dempsey. “There’s a nice harmony between George does and us.”
