Western gun-slinging action will be making a return to the big screen later this year with Antoine Fuqua’s The Magnificent Seven.
The hotly anticipated film will reunite the Training Day director with his previous actors Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke alongside Chris Pratt, Matt Bomer, Byung-hun Lee, Cam Gigandet and Vincent D’Onofrio.

The story will follow a band of outlaw bounty hunters led by Washington who go on a mission to protect the local town of Rose Creek from ruthless industrialist, Bartholomew Bogue, played by Peter Sarsgaard. If the plot line sounds familiar, that’s because it’s a modern rendition of John Sturges’ western which borrowed from Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai film.
The Magnificent Seven will arrive in cinemas on September 23.
