H&M Announce Their Latest Collaboration With Kenzo

It’s been a huge week for collaborations with Nike revealing their collaboration with Balmain‘s Olivier Rousteing and now Swedish clothing giant H&M announcing their new partnership with Kenzo.

The latest designer collaboration will see the French fashion house produce a fall capsule collection for H&M that will reverberate Kenzo’s vibrant styling.

The creative directors of Kenzo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon will release the capsule collection in select H&M stores around the world as well as online from November 3 this year.

Leon spoke of the exciting new project saying that, “we wanted to really tell the story of the brand and of us. Together with H&M, we will invite all the costumers and fans to the real Kenzo world.”

Lim spoke of the young Kenzo team as students saying that nothing has changed since their University days.

“Our philosophy is this. We’re curious. Even at the time, we were always trying to get to the bottom of what we loved – whether it was our favourite band or some dish we liked. We care a lot and still care a lot about what is authentic.”

H&M’s creative advisor, Ann-Sofie Johansson, is looking forward to the new pairing saying, “we can’t wait to share with everyone the world of Kenzo x H&M with all of its creativity, fun and love of fashion.”
