Looking for street style with a tailored edge? Then look no further than UK brand Percival. This season, the brand has taken inspiration from Silk Road, from the Kilim Rugs of the Ottoman Empire to the kimono prints of Kyushu Island.
The collection features plenty of shirt jackets, Cuban collar short-sleeve shirts, relaxed blazers, shorts and trousers in printed linen and soft cotton fabric perfect for transeasonal dressing and ideal for making a statement on the street. A beautiful Ottoman work suit, printed in a custom Kilim multicolour indigo pattern is a standout from Percival’s SS16 offering.
Although a relatively young brand (born in 2010), Percival has a strong online following and after a series of pop-up shops, now calls East London home to the brand’s first permanent store. Percival is designed for younger and older gents and is based around a three-pronged philosophy of lasting and considered design, local production and quality workmanship.
