Two renowned names of the game have today joined their respective reputations to bring forth a luxurious Swiss timepiece in the Zenith El Primero Chronomaster 1969 Cohiba Edition.
The individual companies may reside in vastly differently industries, but their mission is the same – sharing an experience of excellence, sophistication and exclusivity.
The Zenith Cohiba special edition features a raft of aesthetically pleasing updates to the El Primero Chronomaster 1969 including 50 limited pieces in rose gold and just 500 pieces in stainless steel.
A Havana brown dial now graces the Chronomaster to mimic the iconic tones of the Cohiba cigar. Inside the 42mm case resides a El Primero 4021 automatic movement which has a 50-hour power reserve and 39 jewels. This movement also drives a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock, the power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock and a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock.
All of these fine appointments can be faithfully viewed via the caseback’s transparent sapphire crystal whilst the outer dial sports a tachymetric scale for added detail.
