Aaron Christian has seen it all. After working in the fashion industry for five years and attending some of the world’s biggest fashion shows, he began to pick up on a new trend that was happening around these events – an odd street phenomenon called peacocking.
With the legions of street style photographers on hand at any one time, somehow the runways were no longer runways and models were not the ones as sought after for a snap as the next coolest thing. This is none more evident than in Florence of Italy where some of the world’s most stylish men gather annually to showcase their wares on the sacred grounds of the fashion elite.
Aaron Christian’s take on the whole scene is comical to say the least, complete with David Attenborough voiceover guy and great editing of fully grown men doing absolutely nothing and everything they can to get noticed.
Call it a parade, call it narcissism, call it a showing of the best fashion. We’ll just call this great mockumentary for what it is – a hilarious observation.
